Il KDP75 offre l'incredibile tocco e suono di un pianoforte a coda Kawai. La meccanica Responsive Hammer Compact (RHC) di Kawai include 88 tasti ponderati che forniscono un tocco incredibilmente autentico, simile a quello di un pianoforte acustico. Il suono del pianoforte a coda da concerto è il prodotto della tecnologia Kawai Harmonic Imaging, che registra meticolosamente le sfumature di ogni nota del pianoforte a coda da concerto Shigeru Kawai. Il KDP75 fa un passo avanti con selezioni di voci dinamiche di strumenti, vari brani didattici integrati (Alfred, Beyer, Burgmuller e Czerny), la possibilità di registrare e riprodurre le esecuzioni, metronomo, doppi jack per cuffie e connettività USB. Utilizzando l'app Piano Remote di Kawai o altre musicali è possibile controllare o espandere ulteriormente le sue funzionalità.
